About This Site

There's not an awful lot to be said about this site. It's really just your bog-standard ordinary personal homepage. Chances are pretty high that if you're here, you already know who I am.

Although I've had webspace here for several years, I've never used it properly, but I've finally decided to try to get my act together and put together a half-decent site. More importantly I'm going to try to keep it fairly up-to-date and use it to collate and display all the varied bits and pieces of information that I've currently got scattered around the internet. That's the ultimate long-term plan, anyway. Whether it actually happens or not really depends on what else is going on in my life.

The webspace itself is provided by my ISP, Force 9, and all the site design and the HTML has been done by myself, using Edit Plus as an editor for both the HTML and the CSS. I've tried to keep as much as possible to W3C guidelines for XHTML and CSS whilst ensuring that it's navigable by all browsers. The degradation should be graceful, although less-recent browsers may not get the same look and feel as the newer ones.
