LONDON STANDS UNITED
This is the most diverse city on the planet. We've survived world wars, fires, riots, revolutions, not to mention 30-plus years of terrorist bombings.
We stand united,
all races and faiths, to say:
— You will not divide us.
— You will not intimidate us.
— You will not win.

The server's still getting totally hammered, so I'm moving the Grey Album files out of a directly-accessible area. They're still available, but I'm afraid from now on you'll have to ask me for the relevant URLs. I promise I will destroy every such mail after I've replied to it, but for the terminally paranoid I advise you use an anonymous remailer or a privacy-protected mail host such as Hushmail.

Why was this site grey today?
Today was Grey Tuesday and this site was coloured grey in support and solidarity with many others who made making a protest against EMI's attempt to censor DJ Danger Mouse's Grey Album -- a mix of The Beatles' White Album and Jay Z's Black Album.
Additionally, I, like many others, have made the Grey Album available for download. The following tracks are all in MP3 format:
- 01 - Public Service Announcement
- 02 - What More Can I Say
- 03 - Encore
- 04 - December 4th
- 05 - 99 Problems
- 06 - Dirt Off Your Shoulder
- 07 - Moment Of Clarity
- 08 - Change Clothes
- 09 - Allure
- 10 - Justify My Thug
- 11 - Interlude
- 12 - My 1st Song
Also see here.

Hi, and welcome to the new-look site! I decided that it was time to give all my bits and pieces here a radical makeover, although I'm not really convinced that very many people ever come here!
That's all besides the point though. Please feel free to browse around and be generally nosy. After all, I'm not trying to sell anything or even make any major points or spout opinions, so you can just wander about to your heart's content. Or not, as the case may be. In fact the more I develop this site the more opinions seem to be popping up.

I've provided links for downloading DeCSS.zip and css-auth.tar.gz. For those unfamiliar with what these are one of the best resources is here, but in a nutshell they are the magic pieces of code required to view DVDs and essential for anyone wanting to write DVD players for officially unsupported operating systems such as GNU/Linux.
For any RIAA lawyers reading this, let me point a few things out. I live in the United Kingdom. The computers on which this website resides are also based in the United Kingdom. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (link to PDF file) is United States legislation, and despite the fact that the Governments of both countries sometimes seem to act as if the UK was the 51st State of the US, American law has no jurisdiction over me, over my ISP or over any other person associated with the above links and/or files.
